6 Common Distractions to Weight Loss (and How to Avoid Them)

Learning to listen to your body is the single most important step to losing weight and keeping it off.

However, many common distractions might be getting in your way.

For example, you can’t listen to your body very well when you are too tired. The same thing happens when you are consistently stressed or are not moving enough during the day.

Below you will find six baby steps that will help you stop common distractions that are getting in the way of you listening to your body (and ultimately losing weight):

  1. get enough sleep (for most people, 7-8 hours)
  2. drink enough water (for most people, around 2 liters a day)
  3. move your body (at minimum, exercise 15-30 minutes a day for 5 days a week)
  4. organize your eating spaces (what you see is what you eat, so move the food you don’t want to eat to where you can’t see it)
  5. create great shopping habits (meal plans and lists help you bring into your house only the food you want in your body)
  6. eat nufiwa meals (make 75% of each meal nutrient, fiber, water-dense foods)

Once you have each of these steps under your belt, you are ready to listen to your body. Your body's natural hunger and satisfaction signals will become your ultimate guide to eating. You will lose the weight for good and finally experience true physical freedom.
