Take the Fight Out of Food
Donna Fish’s book Take the Fight Out of Food is a fabulous resource for learning how to gain a balanced approach to food. It is written as a guide for parents who want their children to gain this skill but is hugely applicable for anyone looking for help on this topic.
My daughter is only eighteen months old but I was intrigued at first glance by Take the Fight Out of Food (and figured it wouldn’t hurt to start early). I was not prepared for how much I would personally gain from this book.
I learned tips on how to:
- identify my own relationship with food
- eat based on hunger and not emotion
- develop a positive relationship with food
- and as a parent, teach my daughter to do the same
